TERMS AND CONDITIONS


APPLICATIONS:

Applications are on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.  Enquiries for available places on a course can be made by the website application form or by contacting info@raasaymusiccourses.com

Upon receipt of the booking form you will be emailed confirmation of your place on the form and invited to send the course deposit of £175 by cheque in the post. For international applications we will email you details for bank transfers. Once your payment is received, you will receive final confirmation of your place on the course.

COURSE FEES for 2017/18:

Adults: £340

Students in full time education: £225 (please supply a copy of your valid student card with application form).

Non participating partners are very welcome to attend at no extra charge.

The final course fee payments for the total amount must be paid by 31st January 2017 (April Courses) and 9th September 2017 (October Course). Course fee covers the cost of tutored sessions as specified, and the provision of music for practice purposes (as required – printed copies are for loan until the end of the course.) It does not cover food, accommodation or any other facilities unless specified.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ACCOMMODATION IS BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME OF BOOKING YOUR PLACE ON THE COURSE. Please note that Raasay Music Course is not responsible for booking of accommodation. For accommodation lists and extra advice please contact Sarah at info@raasaymusiccourses.com


CANCELLATION:

For the April courses: If you cancel before 31st December 2017 your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel between 1st January and 31st January 2018, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel between 1st February and 1st March 2018 no refund of your deposit will be made but we will refund any balance of fees.

Please note that cancellations after March 2nd 2018 will receive no refund unless we can fill your place due the course being self funding as at that stage funds have been set and allocated.

For the October course: If you cancel before 31st July 2017 your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel between 1st August and 31st August 2017, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel after 1st September 2017 no refund of your deposit will be made.

Please note that cancellations after 10th September 2017 will receive no refund unless we can fill your place due the course being self funding as at that stage funds have been set and allocated.


INSTRUMENT AND PERSONAL SAFETY:

Health and safety are always top priorities at all course venues, but applications are only accepted on the basis that you accept full responsibility for your own personal health and safety throughout the duration of the course. You are also entirely responsible for the safety of your own musical instruments. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover in these respects.


CHANGE OF DETAILS:

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that each course runs as planned, it may be necessary to change details without notice. In the event of a course being cancelled (with or without notice), liability is strictly limited to a full refund of the amount already paid by each individual applicant. Players make their applications on this basis.

TRAVEL

We advise that you research your travel plans in advance. Please ensure that you are aware of ferry times to the Island - if you are unsure please email Sarah for advice. Please note that Raasay music courses can not be held responsible for any travel issues - this includes participants errors and weather factors.
